This course is helping me to get to know what project initiation is. At the start, you'll know why the fundamentals of a project initiation are necessary, and then you're going to know how to define project goals, scope, and also the criteria of a successful project, after that you'll learn how to work effectively with stakeholders and at the end of this course you finally learn how to utilize resources and tools to minimize failure and to attain the project success.

It clarified many doubts about the types of tools that exist and how and for what each of them is used and the importance of choosing the right one depending on the type of project you are working on. I learned the importance of having all the key points very clear to be able to start a project, because if we do not have the objectives, the deliverables, the success criteria, the interested parties, well defined, we could have many stumbling blocks along the way.

In this course I learned how to pave the way for a successful project. , in addition to addressing the tasks related to the completion of the project, goals and success criteria. You learn how to use the tools of RACI Diagrams and define specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and specific SMART goals, define project scope, scope creep, stakeholder analyzes and their relevance to the project, compare and use project tools and resources and value documentation.

My rating is actually a 4.5 stars out of 5, so I rounded up. :)

I really enjoyed the presenter's style of presenting the information and emphasis on key concepts and topics. I would have like a deeper dive into the Work Management Tools, which may be in a module further down the line. I learned a great deal and was able to connect the dots from work that I have performed over my career to the finer technical definitions and concepts of project management.

Wow, this course, Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project, is wonderful and very interesting. In it, I learned many things, such as defining goals, the scope of the project, the project charter, and tools that I did not know before this course, which motivated me to continue the rest of the course to strengthen my skills and experience in my field of work. Very informative! When completing the peer reviews, I was assigned projects that was not related to the current assignment. Although I personally did not grade them, I hope they receive a fair grade from their fellow peers within their cohort. Unfortunately, waiting to be assigned another person was a little time consuming. I also felt a little nervous when opening students documents for security reasons. Other than that it was a great course.

I've done many courses over the past twenty-five years, and this is one of the most comprehensive and deeply rich content courses that brings true knowledge to the student. The number of resources and extensible tools and information provided is commendable, and the quality of the teachings is very thorough and assistive in providing real-life examples and skills. This course was loaded! Learnt a lot about initiating a project in a successful way. Project planning and goal setting using SMART goals and OKRs, stakeholder analysis, how to create a Project Charter, etc. It taught so many Project management tools, some which I already knew of, but it was nice to review and delve deeper into them. Looking forward to getting hands on experience with the other software listed.

This course taught me a lot and was easy to learn. The peer graded homework assignment could use some tweeking though. I received a 3 out of 9 on my first assignment because either someone couldn't access the file and gave me all 0's or they just felt like giving me all 0's. The other grader scored me higher. I had to re-submit my assignment 3 times when I felt that I had done well the first time. But overall, I love this program. Thank you!

I am so happy to have started and completed the course. Although, I still have a lot to learn and lots of practice to do with the different tools I learned in this course. you still have to do the work and turn it in you just should not to wait o other people and what if no one grades it then what , not real happy with this part

some people are able to move faster through this then other and the ones that can move faster have to bring their learning to a halt , maybe someone should have planed this part a little better

The Project Management Tools and acing those tools was a challenging and wonderful aspect of the current course . Throughout this course, I have gained a solid understanding of project initiation and the key aspects of successfully kicking off a project. However, there are still a few concepts I would like to delve deeper into, such as risk management and stakeholder engagement. I believe these areas are crucial for ensuring project success and would like to learn more about effective strategies and techniques to address them.

I finished the first course and moved onto the third in this series, but this has been the best one for me so far. This is specifically for the 'Key Notes" feature they're trying out. It has pretty much any text that pops up in the videos and allows you to pop that into a word doc and take additional notes on top of those, which saved me a lot of time and allowed me to pay better attention to the video.

One of the standout features of this course was the practical approach it adopted. I really liked the course, but became very frustrated when my project was marked as a fail by another classmate without any explanation.

While I agree with failing individuals, i do think that you should force individuals to state why they failed. I ended up passing during my second attempt, and was provided some pretty sound feedback that I was greatful for. Rather frustrating and demoralizing.

I have learnt about project initiation in this course and how a project gets started which is very similar to my working environment. Although I don't heavily participate in the initial phases as in how it got started. Usually, I begin when the project charter is already fix with an assigned budget from the Program Manager. Glad that the sharing in this course here has given better insights for me.
